Announcing Podcast Mini-Series from Michigan Publishing
Michigan Publishing is proud to announce our four-part podcast mini-series, “Dialogues in Democracy: In Conversation.” Through this series, we will explore core tensions in American political culture—tensions that erupt every four years during the U. S. presidential election. Each episode of the mini series features a pair of authors from the University of Michigan Press’s political science list who bring different perspectives to the table on issues of national and international concern.
This mini series serves as an extension of Michigan Publishing’s involvement in the University of Michigan's educational initiative for fall 2020. This includes the launch of the Dialogues in Democracy reading collection of at least 25 books available free-to-read through December 31, 2020, with multimedia supplements such as a podcast interview with one of the collection’s authors, Caitlin E. Jewitt of The Primary Rules .
Episodes for the “Dialogues in Democracy: In Conversation” mini series will be released weekly on Thursdays throughout the month of October.
